When we talk about emails these days, we usually mean a ‘hosted service’. Gone are the days when small companies were running their own email servers on their premises. A ‘hosted service’ means that the email server is owned, configured and maintained by a third party. This benefits the end user as they do not have to pay for any hardware or maintenance and receive an efficient email service for a reasonable price. The two main players are Microsoft and Google, and we are direct integrators for both. If you are currently using an on-premise solution or a web hosting email account (pop3/imap) and decide to go for a hosted solution,
we will:
- Setup the account at the chosen provider with all the users
- Configure the DNS (input the records at the domain hosting to redirect all mail to the new provider)
- Configure the desktops for receiving email from new provider
- Migrate all previous emails into new system
